In a shocking statement, the EPA announced they would not be penalizing companies for violating air, water and hazardous-waste-reporting and monitoring requirements, a get-out-of-jail- free card for industry abuse. This policy, which came at the request of the oil and gas/petrochemical industry, will remain in effect for an unspecified time period. Relaxing controls on air and water pollution could not come at a worse time.

BCPP has been closely monitoring COVID-19 and the precautionary measures needed to keep our staff and our community safe. While we were excited to join together as a community at our May Gala and share our vision for 2020 and beyond, we have decided to postpone this event.
