Important Message from our President & CEO: COVID-19

COVID-19 UPDATE FROM BCPP

MARCH 18, 2020

Dear friends,

BCPP has been closely monitoring COVID-19 and the precautionary measures needed to keep our staff and our community safe. Our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly.

Our number one priority, as always, is keeping you safe. Stay alert and check the CDC for the most recent news on how to protect yourself and support others.

While we were excited to join together as a community at our May Gala and share our vision for 2020 and beyond, we have decided to postpone this event. As a health-based environmental organization, this is in the best interest of everybody’s health. We plan to reschedule for later in the year, and as the situation progresses we will continue to be in touch.

Let’s find a way to stay connected online! We will:

BCPP’s and our Campaign for Safe Cosmetics’ important work will continue. BCPP employees are now working remotely, and we’ve moved all meetings and gatherings online.

We will continue to advance our breast cancer prevention mission during this time, but we also need your help! Given that our May Gala and other spring fundraising events were meant to support a major part of our annual donation dollars, we now face a budget shortfall this spring. If you are able, please donate now.

On behalf of BCPP’s Board, staff, and myself, thank you for your continued backing during this difficult time. As we look for new ways to raise vital funds, please know, now more than ever, your support is essential.

If you haven’t already, make sure to connect with us on social media through FacebookTwitter, and Instagram to catch our latest news, actions, and engagement opportunities.

Please stay well, and I look forward to being in touch soon.

Warm regards,

Amanda
